Water Marbling

In this workshop, Julia will guide you through the art of water marbling. This craft dates back to the 12th century - learn about the history of this beautiful art. Using pre-mixed inks & a water bath you will create beautiful papers with water marbling techniques. Explore & experiment with the materials provided to create gorgeous paper. Learn about the tools required & how to prepare your workspace to easily adopt this art form as a hobby. We will discuss the wide range or items that can be marbled such as ornaments, candles, fabric & more!

Leave the workshop with a variety of marbled papers & a resource book. Some paper might not be dry prior to leaving class. You can opt to pick up another day (after drying) or take with you after class.
