Join us at the studio for a special guest workshop with Lincoln illustrator Katie Nieland. Katie will guide you through the process she uses to create cut paper nature inspired compositions. Using photo reference, you'll transform your sketch into a #D cut paper plant, landscape, or animal. Incorporate details using colored pencils & other media. The finished product will be a 5 x 7 matted collage for your to take home! All materials will be provided.
When: Friday, July 12th 5:30 pm- 7 pm

For who: No art experience necessary. Ages 12 +
About the Artist:
Katie Nieland is an artist working in Lincoln, Nebraska, specializing in the awe-inspiring wonder of the Great Plains through illustration, paper collage, and painting. Her illustrations and writing have appeared in print and online at HAD, The Rumpus, The Offing, and the Chicago Tribune.
